Honda CBR250RR Light Weight Super Sport Concept is the reply to the Yamaha R3 and Ninja 300, Revealed at 2015 Tokyo Motor Show

Honda is taking super sport bikes category very seriously. It’s entry-level motorcycles actually started the entire game, but it failed to go ahead in that segment. In India it is still to realize its mistake and go ahead.

But Honda has bigger markets where it does not want to let go hence single-cylinder CBR250R was replaced with Fireblade styling and 300cc engine, which made it a bigger package. Something that should have to come India, but it hasn’t.

We now know the reason why Honda did this to our motorcycle loving nation. We are quite confident that this Supersport CBR250RR parallel-twin engine is coming to India. Rumours suggest there is a 350cc variant coming in. If that comes it is sure to come to India as the Yamaha R3 320cc and Ninja 300 parallel-twin engine will finally meet their rival from Honda.

Honda CBR250RR Light Weight Super Sport will make around 35 BHP. Meanwhile the 350cc version should make above 40 BHP for sure and around 35 Nm of torque, which will make it rival the segment king in terms of value and performance, the KTM RC390.

This CBR250RR concept is here and it says very little about itself and hence we don’t have much say about it except the fact it will redline upto 14000 RPM. The design like we said last time is very aggressive and edgy and if it moulds around the concept version, that is the production version, it should create quite a lot of buzz within enthusiast.

Akrapovic exhaust with a decal-less body and black color makes this concept also look very mean and stellar at the same time. We are desperately waiting for the production version to come soon.
