Honda CBR150R and CBR250R prices stay similar to the old models; both bikes get new paint schemes
Honda recently hosted a mega event called the Revfest and showcased all performance motorcycle they intended to sell. While the CBR650F prices were out as it was its launch event, the rest of the motorcycles were just showcased – CB Hornet 160 was one of them.
Honda’s grand event had everything you ever needed. A fashion show, lot of bikes and celebrities and it was held in each and every major town and city across our country. Honda also showed what it calls a mystery bike and intends to launch it within the next two months.
Coming back to the Honda CBR150R and CBR250R: The 2015 Honda CBR150R is priced at Rs. 1.23 lakhs. CBR 150R now has three colors to choose from, they are Jazzy Blue Metallic, Sports Red and Candy Palm Green. The Honda CBR250R on the other hand also comes in three colour – Black, Pearl Amazing White and Sports Red.
The CBR 250R is priced at Rs. 1.60 lakhs for the non-ABS version and the ABS version cost Rs. 1.89 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). CBR250R has received one change and that is the tyres. Front and rear now get MRF tyres instead of the poor and highly criticized Continental tyres that come as standard.
CBR 150R continues to be powered by a DOHC 150cc engine which makes 18.3 BHP of power and 12.6 Nm of torque from its fuel-injected and liquid-cooled engine. CBR250R continues to make 26 BHP of power and 22.9 Nm of torque from its engine. Honda should have already brought the internationally upgraded motorcycles to our market but for some reasons it has delayed the entry of those upgraded bikes.
