Honda launches CBR 150R In India, with a sticker job rather than full blown upgrade
Disappointment continues with Honda Two Wheelers as today the Honda CBR 150R has been launched in India. What was expected to be an upgraded version of the CBR series has just turned out to be a stickering job. There were suppose to be a complete overhaul, which has been seen intentionally. Changes to design and mechanicals that has been done worldwide will take time to come to India. Honda has launched the Honda CBR 150R at no extra cost (period).
All of this was pretty much expected from Honda the moment when we got you the spyshots of the current CBR being tested that was caught under the wraps. The Honda CBR 150R will come one new color, which is the glittering black and blue color along with stary graphics ,which can be seen on the Honda CBR 150R. The 2015 Honda CBR 150R also receives complete black treatment on lower part of the body such as suspension, chassis and wheels. Exhaust is also a part of the all-black scheme.
Mechanically Honda CBR 150R has the same perimeter frame with swingarm mounted monoshock. Telescopic forks at the front and same wheel and tyres size are present too. The engine is the same 149cc engine that produces 18.28 BHP of power at 10500 RPM and 12.66 Nm of torque 8500 RPM. The engine is liquid-cooled, fuel injected has four valves per cylinder with a DOHC layout.
Since everything remains the same, the Honda CBR 150R remains great fun when it comes to enjoying the engine. Comfortable ergonomics and good ride quality and with good fuel efficiency it remains one of the top enjoyable motorcycles, but dated at the same time.
