Honda CB Unicorn Gets ABS While CB Shine, CD110 Dream And Navi Get CBS

Honda has updated the CB Unicorn with single channel ABS braking system and CBS with equalizer for CB Shine, CD110 Dream and Navi

The government has made it mandatory from April 1, 2019, that all two-wheelers above 125 cc must be equipped with the ABS system and CBS braking system for two-wheelers below 125 cc. Most of the manufacturers are currently updating the portfolio to meet the new rule and Honda has updated the popular CB Unicorn, CB Shine, CD110 Dream and Navi.

Honda introduced the 2019 CB Unicorn with single-channel ABS braking system to keep cost low and the company has updated 2019 MY with tubeless tyres, updated analogue meter console with blue illumination and seal chain for better durability. The CB Unicorn is available in three colour options – Pearl Igneous Black, Red and Geny Gray Metallic.

The engine has been carried over from the earlier model and it is the 149.1 cc single cylinder engine producing 12.73 bhp of power at 8,000 rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The braking duties are handled by 240 mm disc at the front and 130 mm disc at the rear. The updated CB Unicorn with ABS is priced at Rs. 78,815 (Ex-Showroom).

Honda-NAVI-with-CBS-launched

Honda has finally launched the CB Shine with Combined Braking System with an equalizer. Apart from this, the company hasn’t made any other changes. The CB Shine is powered by 125 cc single cylinder engine producing 10 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. 2019 Honda CB Shine is priced at Rs. 58,338 (Ex-Showroom).

The CD110 Dream is now available with CBS braking system and an equalizer. Along with this, the company has added silver finished 5-spoke alloy wheels (earlier it was available in black colour), chrome finish for the handlebar and grab rails, body coloured front fender, cowl and tail cowl. Honda has also given clear lens indicators.

The 2019 CD110 Dream also gets new body graphics and the new model is priced at Rs. 50,028 (Ex-Showroom). Honda has also updated the Navi with CBS braking system and it is priced at Rs. 47,110 (Ex-Showroom). The Navi is powered by 109.19 cc single cylinder engine producing 8 bhp and 8.94 Nm, mated to V-Matic gearbox.
