Honda Two Wheelers India has announced a new program that would monetarily benefit buyers through the students’ academic marks. Endorsed as the “CB Hornet 160R student reward program”, the Japanese bike maker will be awarding fifty times cashback of the highest percentage of marks scored regardless of the subject. The following stipulations will be followed in awarding the cash based on the highest mark scored: 1. Customer can be a blood relation such as father, mother, brother or sister or the mark sheet holder him/herself. In such cases, the relation should undergo verification via any government identification.

Moreover, this year’s mark sheet above 12th standard will be considered for any student. The monetary scheme will be valid for only ten days from 21st of June to 31st of June 2016. The cashback scheme for the buyer of Honda CB Hornet 160R will be calculated this way: Out of six subjects, if a student scored 97 per cent as his/her highest mark then, the reward will be 97*50 = Rs. 4,850.

Honda launched the CB Hornet 160R in December 2015 and is built on a tubular diamond frame. It shares design cues with the CX-01 concept showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo.

Competing against the FZ and Gixxer series, it is powered by all-new 162.71cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which is capable of producing 15.6bhp maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 14.76 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. Claimed to return an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 59 kmpl thanks to the Honda Eco Technology (HET), it can top out 110 kmph.
