Honda Amaze became the best-selling car from the Japanese brand after the launch of the all-new model last year

Honda launched the all-new, second-generation of the Amaze last year in the Indian market. The all-new sub-4m sedan takes on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire in the Indian market and has become quite popular in the market. In January 2019, Honda sold 7,981 units of the Amaze, which is 181% jump over the 2,836 units sold in January 2018. The YoY gain is huge

When compared to any car in the Indian market. Honda launched the all-new Amaze in the Indian market last year, and it became Honda’s fastest selling car in the Indian market ever. The second-generation Honda Amaze is priced from Rs. 5.59 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It is also the only car in the affordable segment to offer a CVT automatic transmission with the diesel engine.

The all-new second-generation Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates a maximum of 89 Bhp and a peak torque of 110 Nm. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is tuned to produce a maximum of 99 Bhp and 200 Nm of torque. Both petrol and diesel engine options get the CVT automatic transmission as an option.

CVT gearbox is much smoother than the traditional AMT automatic transmission available with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. The petrol powered Honda Amaze manual returns a maximum fuel efficiency of 19 km/l while the diesel variants return a maximum of 27.4 km/l.

The Honda Amaze gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Cruise Control, reversing camera, and paddle shifters for the CVT variants. It also gets keyless entry and starts/stop system. The safety net includes dual airbags, ABS+EBD and ISOFIX mounts for the child seat.
