Ever since the launch of second-generation Amaze in May, Honda is registering positive growth and the company has managed to sell 4854 units in November 2018, when compared to same month last year the compact sedan registered sales growth of 146 per cent as they sold 1976 units only. The Amaze is also the second best selling model in its class.

In the first 5 months Honda was selling around 9000 units of Amaze each as the compact sedan crossed 10,000 sales mark for the first time in the third month but in the last couple of months, sales are coming down as the initial buzz is over. The compact sedan registered negative month-on-month growth of 12 per cent last month.

The second generation Amaze made its India debut at the 2018 Auto Expo as the company has given a new platform for the new model along with an all-new design, which is similar to other products in Honda portfolio. The front gets a thick chrome bar with Honda logo in the middle and headlamps extending to the grille.

The front bumper is new and the company has integrated the boot well as it doesn’t look out of place. The rear gets new tail lamps along with a redesigned boot and new bumper. The interior continues the modern design theme with a new three-spoke steering wheel and a new design for the dashboard with a black and beige colour theme.
