We have made an exclusive comparison by pitting the Honda Activa 6G against the BS6 TVS Jupiter for your viewing

Back in November 2019, TVS Motor Company launched the BSVI compliant Jupiter in the Indian market with ET-Fi (Ecothrust Fuel injection) technology and it has been claimed to enhance the performance, smoothness and fuel efficiency of the scooter. Priced between Rs. 61,449 and Rs. 67,911 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the 2020 TVS Jupiter is retailed base, ZX, Classic and Grande trims.

In our comparison, we have pitted the regular BSVI version of the Jupiter against the heavily updated Honda Activa 6G. The exclusive comparison from us gives a clear idea of which is the better scooter and we do not want you to miss this if you are out in the market looking for a comfortable and fuel economical scooter.

Only a few weeks ago, Honda 2Wheelers India launched the Activa 6G and it costs Rs. 63,912 for the entry-level Std and Rs. 65,412 for the Deluxe variants (both prices, ex-showroom). The sixth generation of the highest-selling scooter in the country comes with many new features and notable technologies.

It follows the launch of the BSVI Activa 125 that arrived late last year as it is equipped with PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection), Silent Start and ESP (Enhanced Smart Power) technologies. While the Silent Start does what it actually suggests, the fuel-injection and ESP techs enhance the precision, performance and fuel economy of the new-gen model compared to the previous Activa according to Honda.

But, do they really make an impact? Our comparison will explain you all these aspects. As for the powertrain, the 109.19 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine boasting HET technology develops 7.96 PS and 9 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with an updated automatic transmission.
