The X-ADV is a crossover adventure scooter that was unveiled back in 2016 especially for the markets of Europe, now showcased at 2019 Jakarta Fair Kemayoran

Honda showcased their popular and unique X-ADV adventure scooter at the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) 2019 alongside some of their other big bikes including the Africa twin. Besides just showcasing the products, Honda booth is also equipped with various types of products ranging from Honda Genuine Part (HGP), Honda Genuine Accessories (HGA), and also Honda Apparel. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has even set up an additional safety riding booth that will provide education to the young riders how to ride safely on road.

That said, the star attraction of the Honda booth at the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) 2019 has to be the X-ADV adventure scooter. For those of you who are not aware the X-ADV is a crossover between an adventure motorcycle and a scooter. It was introduced by Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer back in 2016 specifically for the markets of Europe.

The adventure scooter features a rugged looking body and a higher ground clearance that makes it an ideal off-roader. The scooter not only handles offroad well but is also quite practical at the same time.

The Honda X-ADV features a 21-litre under seat storage and a 5-way adjustable windscreen at the front which adds a big advantage for the rider. The X-ADV features a 17 inch spoke wheels at the front and a 15 inch spoke wheels at the rear wrapped with dual purpose knobby tyres. It also gets a raised single piece aluminium handlebar. To protect the clutch and brake lever from getting damaged the scooter also features sturdy handguard as well. Surprisingly it even features a centre stand.

The X-ADV relies on a 41mm cartridge-type USD fork adjusts for rebound damping and spring pre-load at the front and a spring pre-load adjustable shock absorber unit at the rear. The braking duties are handled by a disc brake at both its front and rear. A dual channel ABS is also available as standard.

The X-ADV is powered by a 745cc liquid cooled, SOHC 8-valve parallel twin-cylinder engine. This unit is capable of producing about 54 hp of peak power and 68 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).
