Hero XPulse 200 And 200T

Both the motorcycles will share the same platform and their powertrain with the Hero Motocorp Xtreme 200R

Hero unveiled the Xpulse 200 concept at the EICMA 2017 and later it was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. Hero officially unveiled the Xpulse 200T which is actually a touring variant based on the Xpulse later at the 2018 EICMA motorcycle show. The test mule of both the motorcycles was spotted a couple of times testing both on the International as well as Indian turfs. After a lot of waiting Hero Motocorp will finally launch these motorcycles in India in the month of May 2019.

If we compare both the motorcycles the Xpulse 200 gets a much higher set exhaust compared to the 200T. The Xpulse 200 will also feature a bigger 21-inch wheels towards the front and 18 inches spoke wheels towards the rear equipped with offroad spec tyres.

The motorcycle will also get a single channel ABS system for the safety of the rider and telescopic forks with 190 mm travel. The rear profile, on the other hand, features a monoshock setup with 170 mm of wheel travel.

The Xpulse 200T, on the other hand, will feature 17-inch alloy wheels and street tyres. It has a ground clearance of 30 mm lower than the Xpulse 200. The motorcycle also features a smoked screen towards the front, a lower and flatter handlebar compared to the Impulse 200. Expect both the motorcycles to also share the same cycle parts including brakes, full digital instrument cluster, etc.

Both the motorcycle will also be powered by the same 199.6cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine that also powers the Xtreme 200R. The engine produces about 18.4hp of peak power and 17.1Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. However, there is a fair chance that Hero might retune the engine for the Xpulse variants.
