Hero Maestro Edge Launched in India at Rs. 49,500

Hero Maestro Edge has a host of features and comes at a value for money price with superior hardware over the competition

Maestro Edge is finally here and the scooter looks very promising. It doesn’t share anything with the Honda scooters and this time the engine is from Hero. Maestro Edge is praised as the styling and package including features are all spot on and the value for money deal just makes things irresistible for prospective buyers.

Exterior wise the new scooter looks very impressive as it has the right curves, edge and one of a kind interesting details on the scooters which have been seen before such as a black visor which comes from the old Maaestro. The Maestro Edge looks compact, sturdy and could impress most buyers at first sight. There are a lot of colors avaliable with the Maestro to choose from right from the white, two blue and black options along with red.

Maestro Edge features list include, clear lens indicator illuminated glovebox, dual tone ORVMs, front and rear luggage hooks, mobile charging from USB port, external fuel filler cap which has a buzzer if not closed properly. An immobilizer, and the lock which starts the scooters also opens the seat and the fuel filler cap just like we saw in the Suzuki scooter before. Maestro Edge comes with a full metal body as the customer demands the same. Maestro Edge also gets side stand indicator and pass flash button just like the TVS Jupiter. Maestro Edge will also get a 5 year warranty like other Hero motorcycles and scooters. Hero Maestro is set to deliver class leading 65.8 km/l, which miles ahead of the competition!

Mechanically, the Maestro Edge gets, 12-inch wheels, combi-braking system, new fenders, telescopic forks, newly designed exhaust can. Engine wise it is the new 111cc engine which makes 8.43 BHP of power and 8.30 Nm of torque. Scooter weighs at 110 kg for the top of the line variant VX. However, both variants have drum brakes and no disc brakes as option and the difference between them are some features which are not available on the base LX variant. Delivers roll out from October 13’th as it’s the auspicious of Navratri.
