Hero launched  a total of 3 new motorcycles and 2 scooters early this month and here are all the details that you should know

Hero is definitely on a launching spree this year. They have launched a total of 5 new products in the month of May already. The Indian two-wheeler giant launched the much awaited Hero Xpulse 200 and Xpulse 200T and surprisingly, the new full faired Xpulse 200S as well on 1st May 2019.

Besides launching the three new motorcycles the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer also introduced their flagship scooter offering the Maestro Edge 125 and the new Hero Pleasure Plus as well on 13th May 2019.

That said, here are all the details of the prices and specs of the recently launched 5 new products from Hero Motocorp.

1. Hero Xpulse 200

Hero launched the Xpulse 200 on 1st May 2019 priced at Rs. 97,000 (ex-showroom) for the carburetted version and Rs. 1,05 lakh (ex-showroom) for the fuel-injected model.

Hero showcased the Xpulse 200 for the first time at the 2018 Auto Expo and it took them more than a year to finally launch the motorcycle in India. The Xpulse 200 is powered by a 199.6cc, air-cooled, 4 Stroke 2 Valve Single cylinder OHC unit. This unit is capable of producing about 18.4 ps of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle rides on a 21 inch spoke wheels for the front and an 18 inch spoke wheels at the rear wrapped with dual purpose tyres from Ceat. The bike is suspended by the long travel 37 mm telescopic forks up front and a 10-step pre-load adjustable monoshock unit at the rear with 170 mm travel.

2. Hero Pulse 200T

The Hero Xpulse 200T is priced at Rs. 94,000 (ex-showroom)

The newly launched motorcycle is the more road-biased touring variant of the Xpulse 200. The 200T gets a standard 37mm standard telescopic fork at the front and 7 steps adjustable monoshock setup at the rear. It too is powered by the same 199.6cc, air-cooled, 4 Stroke 2 Valve single cylinder OHC unit. This unit is capable of producing about 18.4 ps of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.

The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Both the Xpulse 200 and the 200T is offered in the same state of tune and also use the same 276 mm disc brake at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear as their braking setup. A single channel ABS is also offered as standard for the safety of the rider.

3. Hero Xtreme 200S

The Hero Xtreme 200S is priced at Rs. 98,500 (ex-showroom).

Hero Motocorp launched the Xtreme 200S at the same event as well. The Xtreme 200S is the fully faired variant of the Xtreme 200R that was launched last year. It too is powered by the same 199.6 cc, Air cooled, 4 Stroke 2 Valve Single cylinder OHC that also powers the Xpulse 200 and the Xpulse 200T. The unit produces the same 18.4ps of peak power at 8000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.

The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Just like Xpulse and the Xpulse 200T the Xtreme 200S also depends on a standard 37mm standard telescopic fork at the front and 7 steps adjustable monoshock setup at the rear. It too shares the same braking setup with the Xpulse 200 and the 200T and also features a single channel ABS as standard

4. Hero Pleasure Plus

Hero launched the Pleasure Plus on 13th May alongside their flagship offering the Maestro Edge 125. The Pleasure Plus is launched in two variants – The Std variant is priced at Rs 47,300 (ex-showroom) while the top end variant is priced at Rs 49,300 (ex-showroom), making it Rs 2,200 dearer than the older generation models.

The Pleasure Plus is powered by a 110.9cc, single-cylinder motor. This unit makes about 8.2ps of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 8.7Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT gearbox. The scooter uses 130 drum brakes at both its front and rear to bring it to a halt.

5. Hero Maestro Edge 125

The Maestro Edge 125 has been introduced in three variants the FI  variant is priced at Rs 62,700 (ex-showroom), the i3S Disc variant is priced at Rs 60,000 (ex-showroom) and the i3S Drum brake variant is priced at Rs 58,500 (ex-showroom).

The Hero Maestro Edge becomes the first Indian scooter to receive fuel injection technology. The scooter is powered by a 124.6 cc, air cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, fuel injected OHC unit that produces about 9.1 Bhp of peak power at 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque 5,000 rpm.

Hero Maestro Edge 125 whiteThe engine is paired with a CVT gearbox. The scooter uses a 130 mm drum brakes for both its front and rear but also gets an optional 190mm front disc brake as well as an option.
