Hero Karizma XMR 210 will reportedly launch this year and the brand seems to be developing a brand-new 210cc engine

The Karizma was once without a doubt the fastest and most competent bike in Hero Honda’s inventory. It’s possible that Hero is adopting the same tactic this time around and equipping the bike with a new high-tech engine to accomplish this. The Karizma nametag, however, has been said to be making a comeback recently, and the first concrete traces of this are now being seen.

Hero has submitted two trademark applications, which not only point to the Karizma’s impending comeback but also provide some insight into the bike’s characteristics. It is expected that the new bike is most likely to go by the full name Karizma XMR or Karizma XMR 210. Hero’s Xpulse 200 already uses a 200cc oil-cooled, 4-valve motor.

This engine might be used as a starting point for the Karizma, with the bore and/or stroke being increased to attain the 210cc displacement number. There are, however, rumours that Hero is creating a 210cc liquid-cooled engine, especially for the new Karizma. This engine will have a maximum output of 25 horsepower and 30 Nm of torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper and assist clutch could be available.

The new bike may have a fundamentally different design from the previous generation Karizma. Hero might have discovered that the previous-generation Karizma failed as a result of its unusual design. As a result, the new bike will feature a more committed and modern design. On the features front, the new bike might be equipped with features like a digital TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, etc.

It will also include additional features including LED lighting, an LED projector headlight, and alloy wheels. It is also expected that the Karizma XMR, like the former ZMR, will almost certainly be a fully faired motorbike. It’s unclear if it will be a genuine sportbike like the KTM RC 200 or more of a sport tourer like the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.

There isn’t currently a Hero model that directly competes with Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and Dominar 250. The future of Hero may be altered by the new Karizma.
