Harley-Davidson Showcases Custom Bikes Along with 2016 Street 750, Iron and Forty-Eight

The winner was a bike maker from Delhi. Tushar Jaitley’s modification was based on the Iron 883. The bike named ‘Nadia’ had off-road tyres, heat wrapped exhaust, belted fuel tank and had a single seat riding position with a one of a kind swingarm and rear subframe.
The filter sticking and other details clearly made it the best combination and thus ultimately ended up winning the competition.

The judges weren’t ordinary people either. Cherry Company, one of the highly regarded Harley customized motorcycle makers in the world was present at the event to judge the displayed custom bikes. Kaichiroh Kurosu San himself was present there and we couldn’t help our self but to ask him few questions in a very brief interaction.

He worked in a Harley dealership for 7 years before starting his own shop. His first bike that he customized was a H-D 1975 Shovel Head. Cherry is in works with Harley directly this time around and they will be making a bike named Street 73 – all of which will be done at Cherry by Kaichiroh Kurosu.

His message for all custom biker makers was that Individuality is key to customers and so the focus on the same should remain higher. It isn’t balance of power, sporty and old school, it was about the experience, the true Harley experience shouldn’t be missing according to him.
