Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is now cheaper by Rs. 1.04 lakh and priced from Rs. 26.64 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi)
Thanks to GST another high-end SUV becomes cheaper in India. This time, Japanese auto manufacturer Mitsubishi has slashed pricing of the Pajero Sport SUV by Rs. 1.04 lakh. With this, the Pajero Sport SUV is now priced from Rs. 26.64 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), compared to the previous starting price of 27.69 lakh.
In the revised pricelist, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2.5L AT 4×2 is available at Rs. 26.64 lakh, while the Pajero Sport 2.5L MT 4×4 model comes priced at Rs. 27.04 lakh compared to its pre-GST era pricing of Rs. 28.09 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Pajero Sport 2.5L AT 4×2 Limited Edition model gets a revised price tag of Rs. 27.13 lakh compared to its pre-GST era pricing of Rs. 28.18 lakh. On the other hand, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2.5L MT 4×4 Limited Edition model comes priced at Rs. 27.54 lakh in the revised pricelist.

This seven seater large SUV is powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine that is capable of churning out 178 hp of peak power at 4,000 rpm. Available in both 4×2 and 4×4 versions, the 5-speed manual transmission equipped 4×4 model generates 400 Nm of torque output between 1,800 rpm and 2,500 rpm. The 5-speed automatic gearbox equipped 4×2 model pumps out 350 Nm of peak torque.
The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport competes with tough rivals like the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and the Isuzu MU-X as well. With this price cut, the Mitsubishi SUV will be able to take the competition higher against its rivals. As we reported earlier, currently the Japanese car manufacturer is gearing up to launch the new Pajero Sport that is expected to arrive here in April next year.

The 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will arrive incorporating a new design language that will make it sharper and more stylish compared to the current model. Also, it will be powered by a new 2.4-litre MIVEC diesel engine capable of kicking out 181 hp of peak power.
