Ford Endeavour will get minor visual updates and features updates to remain fresh in the market

Ford Endeavour is the flagship SUV of the brand in the Indian market. The Endeavour is a direct rival of the Toyota Fortuner and newly launched Mahindra Alturas G4 in the Indian market. Ford is expected to launch a facelifted version of the Endeavour later this month in India.

The facelifted Ford Endeavour was launched in Australia and Thailand market last year. The facelifted Endeavour was also caught testing in the Indian market last year without any camouflage and will be launched in the Indian market later this month. This is a mid-life facelift, which will keep the vehicle fresh and updated in the market in the coming years.

The 2019 Ford Endeavour gets a few visual updates. The full-size SUV gets a new triple-slat front grille, which looks very neat. The SUV also gets HID headlamps, new fog lamp inserts, new 20-inch alloy wheels with 6-spoke design and a new skid plate in the front bumper.

With the new update, the cabin of the new Ford Endeavour will be upgraded too. Ford may offer the new all-black ebony dark theme as an optional choice in the Indian market. There can be a dual-colour dashboard to keep with the rivals too.

The dashboard now gets softer touch materials and new trims on the doors that make the SUV feel much more premium. The new Endeavour will also get a new set of features including keyless entry, keyless start/stop with push button, SYNC3 update for the infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and minor feature changes in the vehicle.

Ford is expected to use the same set of engines that power the current version of the Endeavour in India. There is a 2.2-litre diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 160 Bhp and 380 Nm of torque and a more powerful 3.2-litre diesel engine that offers 200 Bhp and 470 Nm.

However, in Thailand, both these engines were replaced with a new 2.0-litre diesel engine that is available in two states of tunes. There is a 178 Bhp – 420 Nm version and a 214 Bhp – 500 Nm version. The same engines could power the facelifted version of the Endeavour in the Indian market too.
