Ford Focus RS owners’ performance driving course is a complimentary one day program that includes both classroom and on track lessons
We all dream to buy a performance car at some point of life, but even if we buy that; do we really know how to drive one? Well, it seems Ford Motors is offering the helping hand to the Focus RS owners to learn the true techniques of driving a performance oriented car. Yes, the American auto manufacturer will give the Focus RS owners an one day performance driving lesson at its own RS Adrenaline Academy at the Utah Motorsports Campus in Grantsville.
The performance driving course includes both classroom and on track lessons for the Focus RS owners. In this course the owners will learn the techniques of braking, shifting, cornering and the proper usage of the Focus RS’s four driving modes. The track tutelage takes place behind the steering wheel of a Focus RS, which is fully equipped with various safety measures.

The performance driving course is an one day program, and Ford offers it to anyone who buys a Focus RS. Also the participants don’t need to pay any charge for this performance driving course, and they can even extend another day to learn the techniques of driving a Mustang GT as well. All the participants need to do, is bear their own transportation and lodging expenses.
Ford Focus RS is a performance oriented car from the American auto manufacturer, and the all new hot hatch was unveiled at 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car gets power from a new 2.3 litre EcoBoost engine, which churns out 350 PS of peak power at 6,800 rpm and 440 Nm of peak torque between 2,000 rpm to 4,500 rpm. It also comes with the overboost function, which can lift the torque output to 470 Nm for up to 15 seconds during hard acceleration.
The car can accelerate 0 – 100 kmph in just 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 266 kmph. It comes equipped with various technologies like four different driving modes, Ford Performance AWD system, damper controls, Electronic Stability Control etc. The special Drift mode in the Ford Focus RS has helped the car in gaining popularity.
