The Ford Figo Titanium+ model was spotted with a dual-tone paint scheme; could be launched soon

As the great Indian festive season is nearing, all the automakers are preparing to launch their exciting new and updated products in the domestic market. It seems Ford too is readying an updated Figo hatchback in the country market that wears a dual-tone exterior paint scheme and some interesting interior features. A Ford Figo Titanium+ model has been spotted in Bengaluru with dual-tone exterior paint.

The spied test mule of Ford Figo hatchback was not camouflaged and it was painted in White with the glass area, ORVMs and roof wearing black paint scheme. Apart from that, there is a sleek horizontal chrome strip at the back running between the taillights. The hatchback also sports new design alloy wheels. Expect the updated Ford Figo to launch sometime during upcoming festive season.

This updated Ford Titanium+ model is likely sporting an updated version of Ford SYNC as well. Expect the car to get improved quality seat and upholstery material along with new colour theme inside the cabin. However, there won’t be any change on the mechanical front.

The Ford Figo hatchback is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine options are a 1.2-litre motor and a 1.5-litre unit, while the diesel model gets energy from a 1.5-litre engine. The smaller petrol engine is coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox and it is capable of churning out 88 hp of peak power and 112 Nm of peak torque. Paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, the 1.5-litre petrol motor kicks out 112 hp of peak power and 136 Nm of peak torque.

The 1.5-litre diesel engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and it pumps out 100 hp of peak power and 215 Nm of peak torque. Expect the updated model to deliver same mileage. With this updated model, the American automaker could experience a sales boost for the hatchback.
