Ford EcoSport S And Signature Edition get a number of cosmetic and feature updates over the standard model to justify the price tags
Ford India launched the expanded EcoSport range with the introduction of the new S and Signature Editions and they come equipped with powered slide sunroof. The petrol and diesel S versions are priced at Rs. 11,37,300 and 11,89,300 respectively (ex-showroom). The EcoSport S has brought back the 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine and is good enough to develop a maximum power output of 125 PS and 170 Nm peak torque.
It is mated to an all-new six-speed manual transmission. The new S variant features exterior modifications such as smoked HID headlamps with dark inserts, more prominent black treatment to the fog lamp bezel, blacked out grille, black painted roof and roof rails and sporty 17-inch alloy wheels.

The EcoSport S also gains orange accents on the seats and instrument panel for youthful presence. Also making its way is a new 4.2-inch digital information cluster and TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System). Other main equipment are SYNC 3 connectivity with eight-inch touchscreen and six airbags.
The new variant is also retailed with the trusted 1.5-litre TDCi diesel motor producing100 PS peak power and fuel economy of 23 kmpl. The Ford EcoSport Signature Edition, on the other hand, is paired to the 1.5-litre three-cylinder TiVCT petrol engine kicking out 123 PS of power and fuel efficiency of 17 kmpl alongside the 1.5-litre TDCi diesel.

The cosmetic changes present are reworked grille with chrome surround and diamond cut 17-inch alloys, rear spoiler and roof rails, black fog-lamp bezel along with all round graphics. The interior also gains blue accents on seat stitching, centre console and instrument panel. The variant can be bought as an optional pack on the Titanium variant.
