Fiat Avventura Urban Cross India launch has been reported for September 2016; it was first showcased at New Delhi Auto Expo
Fiat Avventura Urban Cross took the centre stage at 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year in February at the Fiat pavilion. The stylish looking car is expected to come in its production guise soon. Expect the car to launch in India sometime in September, 2016.
The Fiat Avventura Urban Cross is based on the Avventura crossover. But compare to the crossover the Urban Cross looks more premium and stylish. It gets swept back headlamps with LED units and the bezels around them enhance the appeal. The front grille gets plenty of chrome embellishment. The lower bumper gets fog lamps at both sides, while the centre gets an aggressive looking air intake. Also a skid plate gives the toughness vibe.
The side profile comes with chunky and sporty looking 17 inch wheels with petal design. We hope the red accent continue to the production spec model as well. The glass area gets glossy black finish. Apart from that the side profile dons sporty roof rails, side body cladding.
Unlike the Avventura, the rear profile of Urban Cross comes sans the spare wheel at the tailgate. The taillamps also come with LED. Dimensionally, the Fiat Avventura Urban Cross measures 4,000 in length, 1,700 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height.
While the exterior comes with subtle changes, the interior gets a fresh look. The dual tone interior of the Avventura Urban Cross looks stylish, sporty and upmarket as well. It gets a multifunction three spoke steering wheel, a stylish backlit instrument cluster with four round dials. The centre console gets a sleek touchscreen infotainment system with navigation facility, Bluetooth, USB, and AUX connectivity. In terms of space, the interior looks quite spacious.

On the powertrain front the Fiat Avventura Urban Cross gets power from a 1.4 litre T-Jet petrol engine mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. The engine is capable to churn out 140 PS of peak power at 5,500 rpm and 210 Nm of peak torque at 2,000 – 4,000 rpm.
