FB-Mondial HPS 125 café racer is likely here for homologation process; no official word about launch

It seems, Italian bike manufacturer FB-Mondial is gearing up to launch its retro style HPS 125 café racer in the Indian market. The bike has been spotted near the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) in Pune. This indicates the company has brought the 125 cc bike for homologation process. However, FB-Mondial is yet to officially announce the launch of the bike in the country.

Speaking about the bike, the FB-Mondial HPS 125 is an attractive looking retro style café racer and it has been inspired by the racing bikes built by the Italian company back in 1950s. The model spotted in Pune didn’t have any camouflaging cover. Only the brand logo was covered with a small tape.

The bike wears a masculine look. Up front, it gets a large LED headlamp and the single pod instrument cluster sports a large fully digital display. Wide and flat handlebar comes sporting brown leather covering and the fuel tank appears pretty sculpted looking with the sharp tank scoops and a dual-tone paint scheme. The brown leather seat gets retro style stitching and it offers a comfortable seating experience.

A narrow tail section, neatly tucked LED taillight, chrome finished twin-barrel shiny exhaust enhance the bike’s visual appeal further. The bike runs on multi-spoke wheels wrapped with meaty tubeless tyres. The 18-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheels are wrapped with 100/90-18 section and 130/70-17 section tyre respectively.
