Famous Bollywood Owners Of Royal Enfield Motorcycles

The popular Royal Enfield brand has a cult following all over the world. In India, there are many celebrities who own the bike and use it regularly

Royal Enfield is the oldest motorcycle brand in India that is still in production. The manufacturer has a massive presence in the market and is known all over the world for its products. Royal Enfield bikes have a massive fan following and a few of them are rich and popular owners from India. Here are five such riders from India who ride a Royal Enfield motorcycle.

1. Salman Khan

Salman Khan is a major bike fanatic and has been spotted with superbikes during his younger days. Salman officially promotes Suzuki in India and has bikes like Intruder and Hayabusa in his garage. However, even Salman could not escape the Royal Enfield aura. Salman Khan was seen riding the Royal Enfield for a movie shoot and later, he kept the motorcycle with him.

He was seen on a Royal Enfield Classic 500 Desert Storm version. It is a special edition motorcycle that gets a special matte finish paint. The Desert Storm was launched in India as the olive green colour is banned in India as it is used by the Military personnel. The Desert Storm is a light brown colour that makes it look very different from the other Royal Enfield bikes. The Classic 500 is powered by a single-cylinder 500cc, fuel-injected engine that produces a maximum of 27.2 Bhp and 41.3 Nm. It gets a 5-speed manual transmission.

2. John Abraham

The hunk of Bollywood is an avid motorcycle fanatic. John was one of the first Bollywood stars in India to be in a motorcycle-centric movie. He has a range of motorcycles in his garage including the Aprilia RSV4. John Abraham has been caught numerous times on the road with his motorcycles and it is not surprising to see a Royal Enfield in his garage.

John’s Royal Enfield is not a regular one. He got his bike customised by the popular Rajputana Customs, who specialises in customising Royal Enfield motorcycles. John’s custom model is based on a Bullet 350. It gets a girder suspension at the front that uses a single spring to dampen the road surface. It also looks very different from the modern telescopic forks.  The bike has been designed to be minimal in nature and does not get a front mudguard too. It is a single-seater bike with hardtail design. It sure looks beautiful and matches John’s off-beat style.

Varun owns quite a few luxury cars including Mercedes-Benz S-Class but to unwind, he uses a Royal Enfield Bullet 500. Just like numerous Royal Enfield bikes in India, Varun Dhawan has also custom painted his bike in deep olive green colour.

It is the same colour used by the Military personnel in India and is banned for sale in the country.  The Bullet model is one of the longest-running models in India and is extremely popular. Varun uses the bike on weekends mostly.
