Facelifted Ford EcoSport teased, will come with almost negligible cosmetic changes, but has one new variant and a host of mechanical changes on offer.
The Facelifted Ford EcoSport is finally here and it has been teased at social media accounts of the company. Ford has a new name for facelift it and it is Codenamed ICA, or Intermediate Cycle Action, this new EcoSport is coming with a minor facelift cosmetically and the mechanical changes are major in comparison.
The facelifted EcoSport will come with the same 1.5-litre diesel engine as it continues with the existing versions of other cars such as the Figo and Aspire. However, Ford has increased the power output to 100 PS over the 90PS which the previous Ford EcoSport has.
Ford will keep the rest of the engine similar, which means the 1.5 automatic petrol with dual clutch gearbox and 1.0l ecoboost engine will continue being the same and unchanged mechanically. However, Ford has extended the reach of its acclaimed 1.0 litre Ecoboost petrol engine to a brand new mid-variant of Trend+ to the Ecosport which was seen before Figo twins. Facelifted Ford EcoSport will also be offered is a new color and that is Golden Bronze which spotted in dealership yard days ago.
Facelifted Ford EcoSport will boast of features such as signature light guide, daytime running lights, something new and fog lamps, electro-chromic mirror along rain-sensing wipers. Most of these features were witnessed when Ford unveiled the Facelift Ford EcoSport in the international markets. It is scheduled to be launched in the next few days. This facelift comes with minor changes to keep the value for money quotient intact, but considering fact that prices went higher post launch, the cost of the facelift should start from Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000 more than the current versions.
