As per trusted sources, Hero Motocorp is preparing an all-new 110cc motorcycle equipped with iSmart technology
In another sensational exclusive news from one of our sources in motorcycle sector, we can confirm that Hero Motocorp is currently putting huge efforts to bring up an 110cc motorcycle equipped with iSmart technology.
To return on the path of former glory and claw back superiority in the motorcycle market, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer has been exploiting iSmart technology to benefit their sales figures.
Hero Motocorp introduced the first ever bike with intuitive i3S Technology last year. The new Splendor iSmart automatically switches off the engine when idle and switches it on as soon as you press the clutch thus improve fuel efficiency.
Word is that the Hero Motocorp 110cc iSmart motorcycle in the works employs a similar technology and in return a mileage of 95 to 100kpl can be achieved. As far as the styling goes, we can expect it to be based on design cues from Passion Pro 2015 and Splendor Pro 2015.
Besides iSmart technology, modern necessities like digital instrument cluster with side stand indicator could make way into the bike as standard according to our sources.
Likely to be badged as Splendor 110 iSmart or Splendor Pro iSmart, Hero is expected to pull the wraps off the motorcycle at 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. If it sees the light, it will be a genuine contender for 110cc machines from Honda’s stable like the recently launched Livo and Dream Series.
We revealed yesterday that Honda is preparing for the launch of CB Shine SP 125cc that’s been spotted by us several times. Our sources have further said that Hero is racking up a new and heavily facelifted Super Splendor to take on its erstwhile partner.
