Elon Musk’s SpaceX Rocket is claimed to take you to London from Dubai in just 39 minutes; imagines a futuristic transport medium

No wonder, Tesla boss Elon Musk is a visionary when it comes to imagining and developing futuristic ultrafast transportation mediums. He surely doesn’t want to stop with Tesla and its electric powered zero emission vehicles. Elon Musk’s SpaceX has conceptualized a rocket service that is capable of ferrying people around the globe in less than an hour.

If this imagination is materialised, then people will be able to travel from New York to Shanghai (11,896 km) in just 39 minutes compared to the current fly time of 15 hours. Covering the distance between London and Dubai will take similar time as well. As SpaceX claims, the most long distance trips around the world would take around half an hour.

The company has released a video to clarify the concept. The idea is to load the passengers into one of the Big F’n Rocket of the SpaceX from an off-shore launch pad and send it into lower orbit. The rocket will travel at a speed of 27,359 km per hour and descend on the other side of the planet at a similar off-shore platform near a major coastal city.

No wonder, this could be a very unique and revolutionary transport system if ever materialized. But, there are several safety concerns to be worked out. The company needs to work out on the solutions about how the passengers will deal with the sheer G-force at such ultra high speed. No regular person will be able to deal with that. Also, another concern is how the passengers will deal with the pressure at the high altitude.

SpaceX has already garnered pretty much attention worldwide. Also, it has created history by landing its Falcon 9 rocket at a floating barge in sea. However, the rocket service is still in concept form and it would take significant time to be developed and to be materialized.
