Bookings for both the versions of Panigale V4 have re-opened in the domestic market with deliveries set on July 2018
At the start of the year, Ducati India introduced the Panigale V4 and V4 S at rather aggressive prices of Rs. 20.53 lakh and Rs. 25.29 lakh respectively (ex-showroom, pan India). Only 20 examples were allotted for India and all of them have been sold out already.
Instigated by the overwhelming response, the Italian bike manufacturer has stated that the bookings for the Panigale V4 have re-opened in the domestic market with deliveries set on July. Both the versions are powered by the Desmosedici Stradale – a 1,103 cc V4 engine churning out 214 hp at 13,000 rpm and 120 Nm torque delivered between 8,750 rpm and 12,250 rpm.

Ducati’s expertise in the MotoGP premiere class with the GP V4 motor has given way for this road-going version. It has the 90 degree V4 rotated backwards by 42 degrees for a highly compact package. Due to the V configuration, no countershaft is needed to balance the engine that can freely go to 14,000 rpm.
Meanwhile, twin-pulse firing sequence comes into play due to the 70 degree crank offset. The Ducati Panigale V4 has a striking visual appearance reminiscing the brand’s high-end panache. There is a whole host of technological wizardry offered with the V4 superbike as well.

They include standard cornering ABS, traction control, Bosch dynamic slide control and quick shifter. The base variant features 43 mm Showa Big Piston forks connected to a fully adjustable Sachs shock and the steering damper is sourced from Sachs.
The S version comes equipped with electronic suspension from Öhlins NIX-30 forks and TTX36 shock, Öhlins steering damper,lithium-ion battery, forged aluminum Marchesini wheels, LED headlamps, lighter cast magnesium subframe and much more.
