DSK Benelli Sold 3,000 Bikes in India; the TNT600i is the fastest selling superbike from the Italian company in our market
DSK Benelli has set a new record by selling 3,000 superbikes in India within one year since the brand has been launched in the country. In the superbike segment of Indian two wheeler industry DSK Benelli has already established itself. Among its products the TNT600i is the fastest selling superbike, as the model has already sold 1,000 units already. Incidentally, the Italian brand entered Indian market in March, 2015.
The DSK Benelli launched the ABS variant of the TNT600i in June 2016. Since the sales of the model has seen a surge. Buoyed by the success the company is gearing up to launch the Benelli 302R and the TRK 502. Expect these new models to hit the Indian market sometime later this year or early next year.
The company presently sells TNT 25, TNT 600i (ABS), TNT 300, TNT 600 GT, TNT 899 and the TNT R in India. These superbikes come ranging between 250 cc to 1200 cc engine displacements. DSK Benelli also has a total of 17 showrooms across the country. All of these facilities are equipped with 3S facility. The Italian brand is also planning to open 15 more showrooms across the country, which will include Siliguri, baroda, Bhubaneswar, Vijaywada, Lucknow, Nagpur, Raipur, Patna, Udaipur, Calicut, Trivandrum and Agra.
Talking about the success, Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, the Chairman of DSK Motowheels was saying, how the company has garnered this success by emphasizing on performance and mind blowing designs. He also added that introducing various models at different segments and with different pricing has helped the brand to get the much desired success.
Presently, DSK Benelli produces 7,500 units of superbikes per year, with a single shift. The brand eyes to increase the production capacity up to 1,00,000 units per year with a single shift by the end of next year. It also offers 24×7 on call breakdown service. It also offers a 4 years unlimited kilometers extended warranty across the entire range, which comes as an industry first facility.
