The S5, S7 and S11 variants of Scorpio come with Rs. 43,000 as cash discount, Rs. 25,000 as exchange bonus and Rs. 5,500 as corporate discount
Mahindra Scorpio is the model, which changed fortunes for the company in India and they introduced an update last year with aesthetic changes along with mechanical updates also. The company is now offering huge discounts on selected variants of Scorpio to boost sales.
The S5, S7 and S11 variants of Scorpio come with Rs. 43,000 as cash discount, Rs. 25,000 as exchange bonus and Rs. 5,500 as corporate discount, which takes total benefit up to Rs. 73,500 and this offer will be available for this month only. The Scorpio facelift model get toothed grille at the front along with new fog lamp housing.
The company has also given a new bumper at front with horizontal slat for the air-intake. The alloy wheels get a new design and indicators are now integrated into the mirrors. The tail lamps get a small tweak and number plate holder has a new design with a chrome finish on top of it.
The Scorpio also comes with a new bumper at the rear and redesigned footsteps with skid plates round of the exterior changes. The interior continues to be same as the previous model, but the Scorpio now gets leather seats along with leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever. Mahindra has also added a mobile phone holder.
The SUV comes with lots of features like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, reverse parking camera with sensors and guidelines, power windows, air-conditioning, voice commands, one-touch lane indicator and more.
The S7 and S11 variant of Scorpio is powered by a 2.2 L mHawk140 engine producing 140 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. The S5 and S7 are powered by a 2.2 L mHawk120 engine with 120 hp and 280 Nm. The mHawk140 engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and mHawk120 to 5-speed manual gearbox.
