Discount on Maruti Suzuki cars this Diwali season ranges between Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 93,000 as the brand targets increased sales this festive season

Automobile manufacturers look to grab the positive ambience among potential customers and try to lure them in for buying their vehicles during the festive season. As Diwali is just around the corner and the subsequent festivals would result in greater sales, the discounts across the board are obvious for not just the decent selling models but also to the ‘in-demand’ vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest automaker, is expecting big sales turn out during this Diwali and has revealed offers and benefits. For the highly-popular Alto 800, the total savings attribute to Rs. 63,000 including consumer offer of Rs. 20,000 and exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000 for less than seven year old cars. The biggest beneficiary has to be the diesel version of Ertiga MPV with Rs. 93,000 discount courtesy of the Rs. 45,000 exchange bonus.

Since launching in India, the new generation Dzire has been taking the sales charts by storm and is the best-selling model in the country for the last two months beating the mighty Alto with over 30,000 unit sales in August and September respectively. It has not been drafted into the discount mela as all other vehicles are being sold with less than usual rates including the Dzire Tour, Eeco and Omni between Rs. 15,500 and Rs. 35,500.

The AMT version of the Wagon R is offered with savings of up to Rs. 77,000 while the Celerio gets benefitted by Rs. 56,000 to Rs. 66,000 discounts. The Alto K10 version is sold this Diwali with benefits from Rs. 55,000 and up to Rs. 65,000. Maruti Suzuki will be exiting the current generation Swift hatchback in favour of a brand new iteration sold in the international markets.

The brand will be pushing to sell as much as the inventories it has and thus the festive season arrives as a crucial time for them in respect to the retailing numbers of the Swift.
