Royal Enfield motorcycle means the undeniable retro charm of those powerful machines. While the new crop of models like Himalayan, Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 gets digital display at instrument cluster, most popular models from the brand Classic and Bullet come with analog display only. But, you can update that with the digital instrument cluster developed by Bandidos at an expense of Rs. 3,999.

As the manufacturer claims, this ready to fit digital instrument cluster works best with Classic 500 and Bullet 500. Though the 350 cc models of Classic and Bullet sell more units compared to their 500 cc versions, this digital instrument cluster shows inaccurate fuel data. However, this digital console will certainly help the riders during long rides.

This digital instrument cluster comes with a trip metre and a fuel gauge. Now this can be quite popular among the Royal Enfield owners who seek more comfort and peace of mind during riding. Interestingly, Royal Enfield also said that it will update its entire portfolio by 2020 without hurting the retro feel of the popular motorcycles.

It is not clear if the Chennai-based motorcycle giant will update the popular Classic and Bullet range with such premium features like digital instrument cluster, but we would love to see the blend of retro styling with such modern features.

No wonder, Royal Enfield motorcycles have been able to lure the buyers with their pure retro charm with outdated features, but as the demands and needs of the new age buyers are changing constantly, the motorcycle manufacturer should update the models keeping pace with modern time. In that case, we can see the introduction of LED lights, ABS, digital display at instrument cluster to the RE models in near future.

Meanwhile, Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch the new variants of the Thunderbird in India soon that are christened as 350X and 500X. Apart from that, the brand is also preparing to launch its 650 cc twins here in 2018.
