Dealer cheated customers receive their Kawasaki motorcycles in Mumbai following the termination of SNK Palm Beach dealer that didn’t deliver bikes after accepting full payment
SNK Palm Beach Kawasaki dealership incident created some headlines few months back, when the dealer failed to deliver bikes even after accepting full payment from dozens of customers. Though the customers didn’t receive their money paid to the dealer, but they have now received the bikes. Kawasaki invited all the customers in Pune and delivered them the respective bikes they booked.
The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer also paid compensation to each customer for the trouble they had to face. Nearly a dozen customers were cheated when Satyen Karandikar, the owner of SNK Palm Beach Kawasaki dealership didn’t even return the money. As a result Kawasaki terminated the rogue dealership from its authorized dealership network.

The cheated customers initially complained against Kawasaki and the SNK Palm Beach dealership, but as they have received their bikes and compensation as well, they have withdrawn the complaints now. The two-wheeler manufacturer has also revealed that, it is preparing to take strict legal action against SNK Palm Beach dealership owner. Also the company is discussing possibility to open a new dealership in Mumbai soon.
Earlier this year in August, reports surfaced that several prospective customers who had paid full amount to buy Kawasaki bikes at the rogue dealership, had not got delivery of their bikes even after waiting for six-months. After the news spread, Kawasaki got involved in the matter. After some discussion it was decided that the dealership will either deliver concerned bikes to the respective customers or will return their money with interest before 31st August.

But the owner of the dealership went missing before that, and on 1st September Kawasaki released a statement saying SNK Palm Beach is not anymore an authorized Kawasaki dealership. In this situation Kawasaki contacted the cheated customers and started working on solution, and now it has delivered the bikes to them.
