Datsun GO Panca and GO+ Panca special versions will be built on a limited production run of 500 units

Datsun has revealed two new special editions for the Indonesian market. Both the limited editions have come as a celebration for this year’s Eid al-Fitr (festival of breaking of the fast). The budget car brand of Nissan has been selling the Datsun GO Panca (means five seater) and GO+ Panca at Indonesia since 2014.

The GO+ Panca Special Version is based on the T-Style variant of the standard model with additional accessories and it will be available to buy at Rp 126 million (Rs. 6.34 lakh). Meanwhile, the ‘Special Version’ of the Datsun GO Panca hatchback has been priced at Rp 113.4 million (Rs. 5.70 lakh).

It will depend on the T-Active grade of the hatchback with extra elements added to differentiate it from the regular model. The GO+ Panca Special Version MPV comes available with more items alongside the existing list of features in the T-Style variant.

 

The important features are rear parking camera for the ease of parking your vehicle, single DIN unit with colour display, new tweeters and amplifiers, in addition to the beige leather interior theme for an upmarket feel to the people carrier. The new equipment will enhance the already sporty GO variant which offers sporty body kit, aggressive bumpers, etc.

The Datsun GO Panca Special Version gets exterior upgrades such as chrome accented exhaust system and faux carbon fibre roof mounted spoiler. No interior changes have been intended in the Special Version of GO Panca hatchback though. Announced to be built on a limited production run, the Special Version of GO Panca and GO+ Panca will be restricted to 500 examples.

 

No modifications have been accompanied as far as mechanicals are concerned as the GO Panca and GO+ Panca will be powered by the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, petrol motor which is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 68 bhp and 104 Nm of peak torque. It comes linked with a five-speed manual transmission sending power to the front wheels.
