All the changes on this customised Toyota Innova Crysta are focused on improving aesthetics and they did not disappoint
Toyota Innova is the most popular MPV in the Indian market and the reason for its success is its comfort and reliability. Usually, most of the people prefer the Innova in its stock form but some customers like to personalise their vehicle especially base variants as it misses out lots of goodies compared to top-spec variant.
In this article, we are featuring a base variant of Innova Crysta with lots of modifications but most of them are limited to aesthetics. The biggest addition to this Innova is the full body skirts, which reduces the ground clearance and gives a sporty look for the MPV. The LED DRLs are integrated into the front bumper while the headlamps come with HID lamps now.
The side continues the skirts and the stock wheels have been replaced by aftermarket 18-inch alloy wheels with low profile tyres, which further increase the low stance of the Innova. The mirror gets chrome garnish and the rear also gets skirts. The customised Innova comes with aftermarket LED tail lamps, which look really good.
The interior also gets lots of changes like an aftermarket brown finished leather seats, which are similar to the one available on the top-spec model while the door pad also gets the same leather finish. To give a premium feel, the dashboard and steering wheel come with dark finished wood trim.
The wood finish continues to the gear lever area also but it is in a different colour. Apart from this, the customised Innova comes with a piano black finish on the door pad. The centre console gets an aftermarket touch screen infotainment system and the base variant comes with manual AC controls instead of climate control.
Toyota has given steering mounted controls on the base variant. The total cost of customisation is not yet revealed but all these changes give a premium look for the base model. Toyota is offering the Innova with three engine options – 2.4 and 2.8 L diesel engines along with a 2.7 L petrol engine with the option of manual and auto gearbox.
