Ford To Showcase Seven Customised Mustangs At SEMA 2017

Ford has revealed seven modified Mustangs based on the new generation model; to be displayed at SEMA in Las Vegas

Ford is preparing to showcase seven different customised Mustangs at the upcoming SEMA 2017 in Las Vegas. Ahead of the show, the American auto major has revealed the cars online and they arrive modified by several customisation shops in collaboration with the automaker. So let’s take a look at the customised Mustangs ready for their SEMA debut.

MAD Industries Mustang

The MAD Industries has customised the Mustang into a sporty convertible. The white model wears custom body graphics combining green and black paint scheme. Apart from that, in terms of accessories, it features carbon fibre front splitter, 20-inch Niche Staccato wheels with green coloured brake calipers, new sway bars, and a carbon fibre rear wing. It also comes equipped with coilover suspension and the ride height has been lowered. This model is powered by a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine that is fitted with cold air intake and a Borla exhaust system.

Roush Mustang

The second one in the list is the Roush 729 Mustang that arrives with an exciting green paint scheme and looks like ready to hit the track. It gets front splitter, side splitter and rear spoiler made of carbon fibre. A modified hood is there and this car also gets reduced ride height. It runs on large 20-inch bold looking wheels wrapped with Continental extreme contact tyres and there are red brake calipers. This Mustang also gets Recaro racing seats, roll cage. Power source for this model is a 729 hp generating 5.0-litre V8 engine that also features cold air intake.

Tucci Hot Rods Mustang

The third Mustang has been modified by Tucci Hot Rods and it looks like taken from the set of a post apocalyptic movie. The car receives several aerodynamic design tweaks that help it in reaching 321 kmph top speed. It gets an adjustable air suspension, a new driveshaft and G-Force sourced rear axle. Also, the car is equipped with Ford Performance sway bars and Wilwood Aero brakes. Power source for this model is a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.

Speedkore Mustang

The Speedkore Mustang convertible is our fourth model here and it can be dubbed as a modern interpretation of classic American roadster. This Mustang convertible dons custom paint job and range of carbon fibre components. Inside the cabin, it receives plush leather treatment and carbon fibre elements. Power source is a 5.0-litre V8 engine coupled with a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

DeBerti Design Mustang

The DeBerti Design’s Mustang has been customised by professional racer Brad Deberti. This black painted sportscar receives new hood and a widebody kit. It runs on 20-inch Forgiato wheels and the car is equipped with Watson Racing independent rear suspension. Power comes from a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and it also gets a Borla exhaust.

Air Design Mustang

The Air Design Mustang appears with minimal design tweaks. It receives an updated front bumper, new side skirts and an aggressive rear diffuser. It is equipped with Wilwood brakes and inside the cabin, this Mustang features Recaro leather seats. Power source for the model is a 2.3-litre EcoBoost petrol engine.

DRAGG Mustang

There will be a DRAGG customised Mustang as well that comes donning black and white police livery. This car gets emergency lights, front splitter and a push bar. It runs on 20-inch velgen wheels wrapped with Michelin tyres. It gets lowered ride height and power source for this model is a 2.3-litre EcoBoost petrol engine. This Mustang also comes equipped with Air Raid intake and Borla exhaust.
