Custom job starts with S-Cross-inspired grille and even though the design is similar it bodes well with the styling of Dzire
Maruti Suzuki Dzire is one of the best selling models in its class and the sales have already crossed one lakh units for the latest version. In this article, we are featuring a slightly modified Dzire and the changes starts with S-Cross inspired grille even though design is similar, it is custom-made for Dzire and goes well with the design giving a muscular look.
The model featured here is the not top end variant so it misses out on projector headlamp with DRLs. The Dzire get an aftermarket LED strip which is similar to the one offered on top end variant. But the size is smaller compared to the factory fitted LEDs. Apart from this, the customer has added projector fog lamps and illuminated door sills.

We really like these modifications as it’s mostly a stock Dzire and the changes are subtle. The Dzire is in its third generation and the company has ditched Swift name plate for the first time. Maruti Suzuki has given Dzire new HEARTECT platform which is lighter than previous Swift platform. The design of Dzire is completely new.
The new wider front grille with swept head lamps and projector with LEDs look nice. The front design looks similar to some old models but work well with the rest of theme. The side design is simple while the rear gets LED tail lamps along with new bumper and a chrome strip between tail lamps to give the impression of a much wider car. The interior of Dzire is completely new and it is finished in black and beige colour for airy feel.

The Dzire is loaded with features like touch screen infotainment system, climate control, steering mounted controls, cooled glove box, keyless entry, push button start and more. In India, Maruti Suzuki is offering two engine options. The diesel engine is the 1.3 L unit producing 74 hp of power and 200 Nm of torque.
The 1.4 L K-Series petrol engine produces 85 hp of power and 114 Nm of torque. Both these engines are mated to 5 speed manual and AMT gearbox. Maruti Suzuki Dzire competes against Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent and Tata Tigor.
