China intended BMW 1-Series Sedan Spied Testing

Small and Compact BMW 1-series Sedan, sad it’s only for China

BMW 1-Series Sedan is being doing rounds as a test mule for quite some time now and BMW confirms the launch of the sub 3-Series Sedan, which will be limited only to the Chinese Market. Why, why not the rest of the world? In fact, China will receive it first and eventually will be sold across the globe in future is what we believe. BMW cannot gum to one market with world class products in their pipeline, unless they intend to fly-off.

The Bimmers 1-Sedan will be on the UKL compact front-drive architecture, which are currently on the 2-Series Active Tourer, Gran Tourer MPV and the Coopers. And for the power mill, the 1’er will carry 3 and 4-cylinder configurations with 1.5-liter to 2-liter engines.

Also, in addition it will get a powerful turbocharged 2-liter power train making 250 HP.The design is coupled with interesting features like the front bumpers with air intakes newer technologies and followed by the latest design language from BMW.

Answer to the low-cost BMW could be possibly the 2016 expected BMW 1-Series Sedan. The sedan is completely capable of competing with the newest entrants from the same segment the Audi A3 Sedan and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class. If allowed with the addition of the “M” badge and bigger powerhouse the 1-Series Sedan will stand a drag against the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG and the Audi S3.
