Without missing any chance, once again, the spy photographers caught the glance of the much-awaited seven-seater Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV along the Indian shores. As it has been caught testing on the Indian shores, plenty of times, it gives us the hint that the company is not leaving any stones unturned to examine every part of the vehicle perfectly to launch its SUV with a bang!
This bullet proof SUV, the Chevrolet Trailblazer was found fully draped with heavy fabric to keep the surprise element covered for the happy roadgoers. Along the global market, this SUV is available with two engine specs, options- a 2.5-litre 4-pot diesel mill churning out 163 bhp and 380 Nm of torque along with a Duramax 2.8-litre 4-cylinder diesel mill churning out 200 bhp and 500 NM of torque. It is expected that the Indian market will get the 2.5-litre unit, however, there is no confirmation words shared by the company as yet.
Dimensionally, the Chevrolet Trailblazer measures 4.87m length wise, 1.9m widths wise along with a wheelbase of 2.85m. Instead of the monocoque construction, this SUV is constructed with a traditional ladder frame, which means better off-roading capabilities of the SUV.
Along with this, the Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV is going to be a super vehicle with the independent suspension duties donned on all four corners of the vehicle along with offering safety features like ABS with EBD, ESC, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control system.
Inside the cabin, the vehicle is going to offer a roomy cabin with its three-row layout as well as its flexible seats, which helps to fold the flat rear seats to get more boot space. With this, it is expected that the GM India might bring the SUV as a CKD unit to keep the price competitive enough to be one successful vehicle in India. Whatsoever, when launched, the Chevrolet Trailblazer is going to fight against the upcoming ford Endeavour.
