With new Burnt Coconut colour, 2016 Cruze is Now available in seven colours
Chevrolet India celebrates the festival of colour ‘Holi’ in a suitable manner. They have added zing to the new Cruze sedan by adding the ‘Burnt Coconut’ premium colour option. With the inclusion of this new colour Chevrolet Cruze will now be available in seven different colour options. Recently Chevrolet added two new colours ‘Pull Me Over Red’ and ‘Satin Steel Gray’.
The new Chevrolet Cruze looks stylish and muscular at the same time. It comes with cosmetic updates and extra features than the previous version. The front fascia of the car gets sharply designed stylish headlamps, horizontal chrome slats at the front grille, LED daytime running lights, projector fog lamps, large air intake at the lower bumper. The hood gets crisp creases making the car look muscular. The side profile boasts nice curvy roofline, blackened B pillars, chrome highlights at the greenhouse area, subtle character line running through the doors, bold alloy wheels.
The car sports multifunction steering wheel with buttons mounted on it, a MyLink infotainment system at the centre console, a rear view camera inside the cabin as new features. The Mylink infotainment system sports an all new 7 inch touchscreen which comes with applications like internet radio, grace note, SIRI eyes free compatibility, Bluetooth audio streaming, phone telephony with voice recognition control. Chevrolet has equipped the car with safety features like four airbags, ABS and a strong structure to withstand high impact collision.
On the powertrain front, new Chevrolet Cruze gets a 2.0 litre VCDi engine under the hood, mated to a six speed manual and a six speed automatic gearbox as option. The power output stands at 166 PS, while the powertrain produces 360 Nm of peak torque. Speaking about the new colour introduction, Jack Uppal, the Vice President, Marketing and Customer Experience, General Motor India indicated that, adding the new colour to well appreciated Cruze is an attempt of making the car more popular. He believes, this new colour will make the 2016 Chevy Cruze more stylish and vibrant.
The new colour variant will not charge the customers any extra cost. Presently the Cruze comes available in Indian market with a starting price tag of Rs. 13.95 lakh.
