The Huracan Spyder LP 610-4 India Launch is expected soon as teaser image has been revealed by Lamborghini Delhi showroom; price tag of Rs. 3 crore expected The teaser image of the Huracan Spyder LP 610-4 revealed by Lamborghini Delhi’s official Facebook page suggests that the launch of the convertible supercar is imminent. It is expected to have a price tag of Rs. 3 crore and follows the footsteps of the RWD Huracan LP 580-2 launched recently. Lamborghini Huracán Spyder LP610-4 comes with electrohydraulic cloth soft top that opens in 17 seconds even at speeds of up to 50kph. A distinct styling cue with the roof down is the rear deck lid features two long fins extending from the back of passenger compartment to the rear fascia. It helps differentiate the Spyder from its coupe counterpart and additionally directs cooling air into the engine. With a huge list of customisation available, you can choose the Huracan from a palette of eleven paint colors and several alloy wheel designs. The roof-top can be ordered in black, brown or red and the panel right above the windshield housing the Huracán emblem can also be personalised. The interior of the LP610-4 Spyder is undoubtedly carried over from the Huracán coupe. It has clever ducts to reduce air turbulence in the cockpit whilst removable lateral wind guards helps in less intervention of the sun even when the roof is down. A feature borrowed from the Aventador Spyder is that the rear window can be opened in order to let the engine’s glorious noise into the cabin. The Huracán Spyder’s chassis is 40% stiffer than that of its predecessor Gallardo Spyder courtesy of the lightweight aluminium and carbon fibre construction to trim down the weight to 1,542kg. To avoid the disruptiuon of airflow underneath, the flat underbody and large air diffuser have been built into the rear bumper to make the convertible as aerodynamically stable as possible. As expected Lamborghini has made no mechanical changes to the Huracán Spyder. Under the bonnet you will find a hand-built, naturally-aspirated 5.2-litre screaming V10 that churns out 610hp at 8,250rpm and 413pound-feet of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The engine is couple with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels via a new and highly responsive all-wheel drive system. The Spyder goes from zero to 100kph in 3.4 seconds – 0.2 seconds slower than the coupe – zero to 200kph in an eye-watering 10.2 seconds. It has a staggering top speed of 201mph (324kph) as similar to the coupe. Lamborghini claims a combined fuel efficiency of 8.3kmpl which is remarkable for such a large engine as it employs fuel-saving cylinder-on-demand technology that’s yet to make in to the coupe.
