Using a DC fast charger, the BYD Atto 3 can replenish back to 80 per cent from 0 in just 50 minutes while the driving range stands at 521 km on a single charge under ARAI’s test conditions. It is also packed with features and advanced technologies including the Level 2 ADAS systems known as BYD Dipilot.
The equipment list also comprises seven airbags, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an adaptive rotating function, a 360-degree holographic transparent imaging system, an NFC card key, and a Vehicle to Load (VTOL) mobile power station, a wireless charging facility, a one-touch electric tailgate, eight-speaker audio, powered seat, voice control, etc.
The exterior features a stylish profile with flowing body panels and sharp edges evoking a futuristic appeal. It also gets LED headlamps and LED rear lights, multi-colour gradient ambient lighting, PM 2.5 air filter and CN95 air filter. The Atto 3 comes with a 7kW home charger and its installation service, a 3kW portable charging box, a 3-year free 4G Data subscription, 6-year roadside assistance, and 6 free maintenance service.
The battery has a warranty of 8 years or 1.6 lakh kilometres (whichever is earlier), 8 years or 1.5 Lakhs kilometres (whichever is earlier) for the motor and the motor controller, 6 years or 1.5 lakh kilometres for the vehicle, and warranty details of other components. It is on display at every BYD India dealership showroom currently.
The first batch of deliveries will commence in January 2023.
