The UT300 comes with a discount of up to Rs. 60,000 and the company is offering this discount offer only till March 31
Mahindra Mojo UT300 is now priced at Rs. 92,000 as the company is offering Rs. 60,000 flat cash discount. This offer will be available only till March 31 and employees of Mahindra can also get a cash discount of Rs. 75,000 as well.
The company introduced Mojo UT300 in March last year and it was priced competitively. But the sales of the motorcycle have been very low since the launch as the company sold just 94 units of UT300 in last six months. The discount offers make the UT300 incredible value for money. Mahindra was expecting the entry-level UT300 to improve sales.
Mahindra might discontinue the UT300 post the April 1 deadline as all two-wheelers above 125 cc must come with ABS system as standard and the company is currently not offering the UT300 with ABS braking system. They want to clear the current stock from dealerships, which might be the reason for the huge discount offer.
The UT300 misses out certain premium features when compared to Mojo as the latter gets telescopic front forks replacing the upside down forks. But the company has added fork brace for stability. Instead of the twin exhaust, the UT300 comes with a single exhaust on the right side and LED DRLs have been removed.
The rear gets off-set mounted mono-shock absorber from the Mojo 300. The UT300 comes with MRF Nylogrip Zapper tyre instead of the sticker premium Pirelli tyres as the front get 110/70 section tyre and 140/70 section tyre at rear with 17-inch black finished alloy wheels. But the disc brakes have been carried over from Mojo 300.
The braking duties are performed by 320 mm disc at the front and 240 mm disc at the rear. The UT300 is available in two colour options – Volcano Red and Ocean Blue. The motorcycle is powered by 294.72 cc single cylinder engine producing 23.1 PS of power and 25.2 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
