Borgward Isabella is a four-seater coupe Concept; previews future design of the German automaker
Borgward has unveiled the Isabella concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show that grabbed everyone’s attention with stunningly beautiful design. The concept takes inspiration from Brogward’s legendary Isabella of the 1950’s and blends modern design, advanced technologies to it. Also, it previews the futuristic Borgward design language as well that we expect to see in the upcoming cars from this German brand.
The Borgward Isabella concept is a four-door, four seater coupe with very stylish appearance. It incorporates Borgward’s ‘Impression of Flow’ design theme. As the company claim, the concept gets carefully coordinated body shape with smooth transitions. It perfectly balances between beauty and technology. Speaking about its design, the Isabella concept gets rounded organic shapes and precise lines.

Up front, it gets swept back sharp LED headlamps, a sharp nose section. Instead of conventional front grille, there is an all-covered look and there are sleek air dams at both sides. Also, a big front splitter enhances its visual appeal and indicates towards the coupe concept’s sportiness. The long hood gets sleek creases.
Moving to the side profile, the Borgward Isabella coupe concept features flowing lines, large bold looking wheels with red brake calipers, flared fenders, nicely curved roofline and sleek lines are there too. The rear features slim LED taillights. Dimensionally, it measures 5,000 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width and 1,400 mm in height. Borgward claims it has been designed keeping aerodynamic efficiency in mind.

Inside the cabin, it gets a minimalist and conventional look but with extreme luxuriousness. The contrasting colour theme, wide digital display at the dashboard indicates towards a very premium cabin with lots of advanced technologies and driver assisting features. On the powertrain front, Borgward Isabella coupe concept would get an all-electric powertrain with an impressive range. We expect the automaker to revive the legendary car with inspiration from this concept in near future.
