Unlike any other modified Tata Nexon, the Rockford Fosgate built model emphasises on further upping the ante in audio department
Modern day Tatas offer best audio systems in their respective classes courtesy of the progressive deal struck with Harman back in 2012. The Nexon, for instance, provides an 8-speaker audio (4 speaker and 4 tweeter) in its high-spec variants and the results were just enticing.
Even the low-spec XM variant offers 4 speakers with impressive audio tuning. Courtesy of Team-BHP, we got to see a few pictures that worth writing about regarding audio systems as the Nexon has been spiced up with Rockford Fosgate’s custom surround sound.
It appears that the customised Nexon will be used on roadshows and dealer showcases across the country and the American brand has concentrated on taking the feel of audio to the next level along with a few other subtle updates. They include a new grey wrap on the probable Glasgow Grey paint scheme and custom seats with perforated black leather and contrast red stitches.
Stepping inside, you would be treated with custom door panels with red and grey finish compounded by two big Rockford Fosgate speakers. The driver and co-passenger side of the doors come with dual 6.5-inch T1659-S speakers while the rear doors get a single T1659-S unit each with regular tweeters.
The addition of speakers and dampening materials will have indeed made the doors heavier while opening and closing. The customised Tata Nexon also gets two tweeters inside the raked A-pillars on each side. The driver can turn the white ambient lighting around the speakers and tweeters on or off according to the preference.

The boot boomer can be lit in any colour unlike the speakers and tweeters via dial at the front and the interesting thing is the entire setup can be connected to Nexon’s stock head meaning it can be used just as you please!
