BMW X5M and X6M Launched In India, Pricing for BMW X5M Stands at 1.55 Crores and BMW X6M is at 1.60 crores
BMW is serious about the performance cars just like the other car brands that compete with this Munich company. AMG is on a parole, we have the RS6 AVANT and in true BMW fashion, we have head twisting and lung shifting SUV’s this time. BMW X5M and X6M are finally here after being launched in sane avatars some time back with diesels.
Interior wise, the cabin is all black gets aluminium finished inserts across the cabin including the scuff plates. When it comes to goodies, both the BMW X5 M and X6 M come with auto climate control, Harman Kardon audio system, Park Distance Control with rear-view camera, adaptive LED headlights with BMW Selective Beam. The iDrive touch system comes with handwriting recognition and everything can be seen on 25.9 cm HD color touch screen. This new generation one comes with a navigation system and the both SUV’s get a Head Up Display (HUD) unit.
BMW X5M and X6M get power from the powerful 4.4-litre Twin-Turbo V8 engine that produces to produce 575 HP, available between 6000-6500 RPM and a head twisting 750 Nm of torque and that is available between 2200-5000 RPM. Power is sent to all four wheels via the 8-speed Steptronic ZF made transmission. BMW X5M and X6M do the 0-100 km/hr sprint in 4.2 seconds, being twins indeed. While the top speed on both SUV’s is electronically limited to 250 km/hr.
Passive safety features as always is in abundance and the BMW X5M and X6M come with features such as eight airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Active Protection with Alertness Assistant, Side-Impact protection, Electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensors.
The BMW X5M and X6M are available in seven metallic paint options. Carbon Black, Silverstone, Black Sapphire, Melbourne Red, Mineral White, Long Beach Blue, Donington Grey and in non-metallic Alpine White color are available as of now. All prices are devoid of any type of tax your state has, such as VAT, RTO etc.
