The new BMW X3 xDrive30d M Sport has been launched in India, following the regular variant of the X3
After Mercedes, BMW is getting aggressive with its plan in India as its launching variants of its popular cars one after the other. The BMW X3 2015 was launched in India couple of months back, and now BMW India has launched the X3 xDrive30d M Sport. The BMW X3 xDrive30d M Sport comes with a host of changes inside and outside which improve performance and luxury.
The M Sport design package has always lend BMW cars a distinct look, which makes the car more purposeful. The M Aerodynamic package we were speaking about earlier comes with front and rear bumpers in the body colour. The Diffuser and side sills are also part of the M sport package. The sill covers, wheel arch trim and door trim comes in the body colour now. The M sport is incomplete by M badges everywhere. “M” logo is seen on the sides. The trim strips, side frames, window recess finishers and exterior mirror base and frame are all finished in high-gloss black.
When it comes to the interior, the M Sport package gets sport seats for driver and passenger in cloth/leather upholstery. Interior appeal is boosted by the dynamic multi-function M leather steering wheel. Another addition to the car is the Panorama glass roof.
BMW has also given the ConnectedDrive on board the new BMW X3 xDrive 30d M Sport. The new system includes the next generation of BMW iDrive that comes with touch controller, BMW Navigation Professional with inbuilt GPS.
All of that can be seen on a 25.9 cm colour display with 3D maps. The BMW X3 also gets high-end surround sound system from Harman Kardon and connectivity through Bluetooth and USB devices is also part of the M Sport package seen on this BMW X3. The BMW X3 also Park Distance Control (PDC) rear and front along with rear view camera come as standard features.
The new BMW X3 xDrive30d M Sport is powered by slightly tuned three-litre six-cylinder in-line diesel engine. The engine develops 258 bhp of power and maximum torque of 560 Nm. The BMW X3 does 0 to 100 km/h dash of acceleration in just 5.9 seconds with a top speed of 232 km/h. All of that power is going to the rear wheels through the eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. Cruise Control provides seamless gear changes.
All of this helps the BMW X3 xDrive30d M Sport’s transmission collaborating perfectly with the engine and enabling it to develop its full power and efficiency all the time. The BMW X3 xDrive30d M Sport also comes with four driving modes such as Comfort, ECO PRO, Sport and Sport. BMW X3 xDrive30d M Sport comes at price of Rs 59,90,000/- and competes with the Audi Q5 and Mercedes ML-Class which is now known as the GLE class.
