BMW R nineT Gets ER Kit From Dab Design

Dab Design ER kit gives BMW R nineT a retro classic sportsbike stance; comes in 13 different parts

France based Dab Design has tried to ignite the retro classic racing bike charm with its ER kit for the BMW R nineT. The premium bike gets the ER or Enhanced Racer kit that comes available in 13 different parts and it enhances the bike’s visual appeal to a different level. The ER kit by Dab Design has been designed to be installed using the BMW R nineT’s standard mounting points. The kit comes priced at 1,995 Euros.

The above mentioned price is with 50% discount being offered for the early buyers. Alongside the standard body kit, there is a carbon fibre and flax variant of the body kit as well and that comes priced at 3,375 Euro. Shipping charge will be extra and customers can expect to get the delivery by June 2018.

This custom body kit has been created out of a range of custom motorcycles that were designed by the French customisation shop in 2017. Presently, Dab Design is receiving pre-bookings for the ER kit through fund raising website Indiegogo. It comes as a bolt-on kit and as the Dab Design says, anyone can fit it to the bike with standard hand tools.

Speaking about the Dab Design’s ER kit for the BMW R nineT, completely changes the bike’s overall appearance. It transforms the overall look from front forks to tail section. The front fairing gives it a futuristic look that comes blending with the retro classic styling language. Dab Design claims, presently this kit is in its concept stage and it is expected to be available in flesh soon.

BMW R nineT’s conventional round shaped headlamp gets a new look thanks to the kit and there is a LED daytime running light as well. This body kit will be available in different colour options like Black and Silver. Despite designed in line with the BMW R nineT Racer, the body kit looks very unique.

Speaking about the standard BMW R nineT, it comes priced in India at Rs. 18.20 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The bike gets energy from a 1,170 cc liquid-cooled engine that is capable of churning out 110 bhp of peak power at 7,550 rpm and 119 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.
