BMW Motorrad To Make Official Entry at the Auto Expo 2016 as it will bring its entire line up of motorcycles right from the new G310R to S1000RR
BMW Motorrad is all set to officially enter the Indian market with the Auto Expo 2016. This marks the last premium manufacturer to enter India after the Japanese and other European manufacturers. The German motorcycle manufacturer will display its entire product range at the 2016 Auto Expo that is set to happen Delhi. We can expect everything the GS, XR, GT, RT, RR’s and everything related to the motorcycles. We could witness the K1600, The GS 1200, S1000RR, S1000R, K1300R and many more motorcycles.
However, everything will play second fiddle as this is India and we love mass market, quarter litre motorcycles. Yes, The G310R will be there at the stall in Hall 10. BMW Motorrad will hold a press conference on the first day of the Auto Expo to announce its entry. The company will share and announce its plans and product portfolio for the Indian market.
We are expecting magic acronyms such as CKD! BMW also announced some time back its intention to sell its bikes that are developed in India. Expect more details on this plan, as it is set to expand its reach in India soon. The G 310 R is one product that BMW plans to sell to the world and India. Meanwhile, its partner TVS, has its own separate way at the Auto Expo as always. The Hosur based brand will display everything it has at Hall number 2.
BMW has developed an all-new engine that will power the G 310 R. On the same platform, there will be different motorcycles. We expect this same engine to power other variants based off the platform. The guesses are obvious and let’s start by a faired sport bike called as the S 310 RR or G 310 RR, an adventure tourer called (G 310 GS) would make enthusiast loose their mind in joy, if these come to life!
