BMW Motorrad currently offers two budget motorcycles in its lineup and both of them get new colour options

BMW Motorrad, the two-wheeler arm of German luxury car manufacturer, created a lot of stir in the market by introducing their entry-level motorcycle duo – the BMW G 301 R and G 310 GS. While the former is a naked roadster, the latter is a dual-purpose adventure tourer. To make these motorcycles more attractive, BMW is now offering new paint schemes for the duo.

The G 310 R is now available in Cosmic black 2 that replaces the Cosmic black colour option. The G 310 GS, on the other hand, gets a Strato blue metallic instead of Racing red paint.

Apart from the paint, the Cosmic black 2 brings new decals on the front fender, radiator cover and rear fairing adding a refreshed look to the motorcycle. In the G 310 GS, the paint is visible on the front beak and on the top-centre of the fuel tank. Also, the ‘GS’ logo is now neon yellow shade instead of body colour in the existing GS range.

Apart from the visual changes, there’s no other change to the motorcycles and they continue to be powered by a 313.2 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, reverse-inclined engine that produces 34 hp and 28 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission.

Underpinning the BMW G 310 duo is a trellis frame and it also features adjustable monoshock at the back, upside-down forks at the front, disc brake on both wheels and dual-channel ABS. Where both the bikes differ is wheel size which is 19-inch front in G 310 GS and 17-inch in G 310 R.
