BMW’s all-new C400X mid-capacity urban scooter comes packed with electronic gizmos; powered by a 350cc engine

BMW has unveiled its all-new C400X urban maxi scooter that comes fully packed with advanced tech stuffs. This premium scooter comes as the brand’s lower sitting product in the 600cc+ C range. BMW claims, this scooter is extremely practical for regular commuting in and around the city, as well as it is also fit for occasional fun rides.

Speaking about its USP, the premium urban scooter gets LED lights as standard both up front and at the back. The customers can choose an optional 6.5-inch full colour TFT instrument cluster with Multi-Controller, than enhances its style and appeal further. The dash system comes offering various connectivity options. It offers chance to make and receive calls, play music and use the GPS system of the smartphone as well.

However, if we talk about the styling, the scooter doesn’t come with very impressive appearance. Up front, it looks really ugly. It dons a dual-tone paint scheme. The headlamp is positioned at the centre of the front cowl, with vertically positioned LED turn indicators positioned lower facing the ground. There is a long visor up ahead. The scooter comes with spacious seats offering comfortable riding experience to both the rider and the passenger. Also, there is generous leg room for the rider.

Speaking about the power source of this premium urban scooter, it draws energy from a 350 cc single-cylinder engine coupled with a CVT. The engine is capable of churning out 33.5 bhp of peak power at 7,500 rpm. BMW has equipped the 204 kg weighing scooter with ABS and traction control system enhancing its safety further.
