BMW Active Hybrid e-bike gets removable 502Wh battery that produces 250 W power and 90 Nm torque; gets four power modes
BMW has unveiled its new e-bike concept christened as Active Hybrid that blends advanced technology with a stylish design. Priced at €3,400 (Rs. 262,112), this e-bike will be available in select BMW dealerships. However, this exciting e-bike is very unlikely to be available in India. Also expect it to be available in a limited number to keep it exclusivity intact.
This lightweight e-bike comes powered by a removable 502 Wh battery that delivers a range of up to 100 km, which certainly makes it a very attractive product. Also, the e-bike concept gets several useful features to lure the buyers.

The BMW Active Hybrid e-bike’s electric motor is capable of churning out 250 W power output along with 90 Nm of peak torque. It is capable of running at a top speed of 25 kmph. Both the electric motor and the battery pack are integrated into the aluminium body frame. The BMW e-bike concept comes with four different power modes that include ECO and TURBO.
BMW has equipped the Active Hybrid e-bike with features like micro USB socket and Bluetooth connectivity as well. The riders can charge and connect their smartphones using these features. To enhance safety, it gets LED lights integrated to the front and rear mudguards made of aluminium. The sleek looking e-bike has been designed keeping the aerodynamic efficiency in mind.

The BMW Active Hybrid e-bike will be available in different colour options like Frozen Black and Arctic Silver. BMW also claims that with its ergonomic design, riders will be offered comfortable riding experience. The e-bike has been designed keeping focus on improved balance for the rider even in high speed and during sudden braking as well.
